Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 19, 2018

WebbyCards®, LLC. has prepared this Privacy Policy statement to inform you of the information gathering and dissemination practices for this web site, www.webbycards.com, (the "Web Site) and to describe how WebbyCards protects and utilizes information it receives from Web Site visitors.

WebbyCards respects the privacy rights of Web Site visitors. WebbyCards collects personal information concerning Web Site visitors only in connection with consumer surveys, product purchases, or submitting emails and on-line forms to WebbyCards. Such personal information may include your name, address, email address, daytime phone number, credit card information or other information.

When WebbyCards intends to use your personal information, WebbyCards will inform you of this at the time that the personal information is requested. That way, you can decide whether or not you wish to furnish such information to WebbyCards.

You should be aware that when you are on the Web Site, you could be directed to other sites that are beyond our control. There are links to other sites from the Web Site that may take you outside our service. These other sites may collect data or solicit personal information from you, so be aware of where you may end up. WebbyCards is not responsible for any information that you choose to provide on another web site.

We do not sell or otherwise share with outside parties your personal information or eCard distribution email addresses unless we provide you with advance notice and receive your written approval.  "Outside parties include all affiliated companies of WebbyCards, WebbyCards' Web Site hosting partner or other parties who provide a service to WebbyCards as long as those parties agree to a WebbyCards non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement.” With our client’s approval, we will engage our business partner, Neverbounce.com to cleanse our email distribution list to identify in advance all invalid email addresses in order to reduce the number of bounced email addresses which will negatively affect our sender reputation.

We value our Client's privacy and do not share or sell any personal information or emails provided from a client for emails distributed by WebbyCards for the purpose of sending eCards on behalf of the Client.

WebbyCards.com, as do most major web sites, uses "cookies. Cookies are small bits of information that a web site transfers to your computer's hard drive for record-keeping purposes while on the web site. Cookies facilitate your "web surfing by saving your passwords, purchases and preferences based on your previous activity on a web site. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent or you can choose to refuse all cookies. You do this through your internet browser. However, if you choose to refuse cookies, some areas of the Web Site will not function properly.

If we are going to use your personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time the personal information is collected, we will notify you by email. You will then have the choice whether or not we may use your personal information in this different manner. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post a prominent notice on the Web Site informing users of the change. Any changes in policy will apply only to information collected after the effective date of the change.

Our GDPR Commitment

We do have customers located outside of the United States. With the regulations coming into force by May 2018, the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) hands EU customers the power to control their personal information that businesses store and handle, without tradeoffs.

WebbyCards protects the personal data of our customers. We only collect and store information that is necessary to offer our service, and we do this with the consent of our customers. Adding to this, our approach towards privacy, security, and data protection aligns with the goals of GDPR.

Along with a highly secure and robust system architecture, we have a variety of security measures in place to prevent unauthorized access and processing of personal data.

We are committed to being fully GDPR-compliant by 25th May 2018.
